Webster Technique for Pregnancy

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis of the sacrum, pelvis, and spine, with various adjustments, soft tissue releases, and corrective techniques. According to the ICPA “The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated.”

Subluxations (misalignments and nerve dysfunction) of the sacrum, pelvis, and spine may contribute to difficult labor for the birthing person. The uterus, pelvic muscles, and position of the baby are all related to the function of the nervous system. Correction of spinal subluxations allows for increased nerve function which enhances functions of the muscles and organs involved in pregnancy and birth.

Dr. Deborah Nikolin is certified in the Webster Technique and has helped hundreds of women achieve and maintain a beautiful and healthy pregnancy and delivery.
